• Nice parking lot.
• Everything.

“I went to Carvers today to celebrate winning the lottery. It was the most horrible experience I have had at a steak house. We were seated next to the kitchen. The noise was unbearable. The service was horrible. They have 2 different dining rooms, the back room, where I was in was a good 10 degrees colder than the main room. As for the food, I had the tomato soup which was more of a vegetable soup, the prime rib was very bland and my baked potatoes tasted like it was microwave. I will never go back. For price the food should of at least had some flavor.”

“We decided to try Carver's for the second time during the end of restaurant week here in the Dayton area. We waited 15 minutes for a table which was right in front of the combo. The food was okay at best. My salad was loaded with vinegar which made me cough. The server was dashing around so fast that she did not notice that my husband was trying to ask for coffee. Also, the food was over priced. I'd steer clear of this place if you are looking for great food. Maybe it is different when it is not restaurant week.”

“Service was sub-par, the management was worse, does not know how to handle any situation, the mother ship, I am sure would not be happy.”

• Filet is the best in Miami Valley.
• Offerings are a little pricey.

“If you want the best filet in Dayton, this place is for you. Don't miss the spinach salad. The wine list is extensive with a monthly featured vineyard. Great jazz in the bar on Friday evenings.”
