“After I began eating my entree, a Pad Thai noodle dish, which was below average at best. I completely lost my appetite when I saw a roach climbing up the wall behind our table. I discretely asked the very rude waitress to please have my meal taken off of the bill, because I would no longer be able to eat it. The equally rude manager came over and said, " well we are bombing for them, since it wasn't in your food you pay half" And I said absolutely not. The roach then proceeded to fall on one of my friend's shirt while he was eating! If they are coming out in the day light, you can only imagine what is like where the food is being stored and prepared! Do yourself a favor, make the trip to either Mai Thai in Edison, or the Noodle House. The staff is much more friendly and you will get a great meal and a clean atmosphere.”

“By far the worst restaurant I have ever ate at. The food was OK. Only good, if you eat spicy food. However the service was horrible. Some of the most rudest waitress's and owners I've ever met. We sat down to eat and couldn't finish the food so we had it packed. There was a whole plate of food that I wanted packed to go.”

“We have gone to Pad Thai several times because it's very close to our home. The food is consistently much spicier than any of the other Thai restaurants we visited and we've found that when we get the lowest level of spice the food doesn't taste right, for example at the lowest level of spice the Pad Thai noodle dish tastes like it has BBQ sauce on it. So, for someone who is used to mild to moderately spicy food this restaurant is a lose situation. A fire eater may enjoy it.”

“Great food, I liked the BBQ beef especially! Pass on the dumplings, a bit on the doughy side, but overall pretty good. I went with 6 other people, and they enjoyed it as well. Only thing, watch out for the 15% tip they add on themselves to your tab. Service was pretty good, although they came straight to our table and took our entree orders and never asked us if we wanted any drinks. We had to wait about 10 minutes after we ordered to flag down a waitress and tell her our drink orders. Also, everyone must order a dish, or they add some charge if you are going to share the meal. We had a total of 7 people, and they let us get away with ordering just 6 items. I'd go back either way!”

“Food was horrible, tofu dish was basically a salad bag tossed in a stir fry pan, a couple cubes of tofu and some curry. Waitress was incredibly rude, other dishes were very poor, and shrimp was way overcooked or reheated from night before. Simply horrible and service was even worse. I have been to many Thai places and have never experienced the bottom of the barrel until now. I will never go back and strongly recommend anyone from thinking twice.” 0 of 2 people found this review helpful.Popular Restraurants in Highland Park
