“My family and I have been going since I was a little girl. Now I take my girls. It's Kid friendly. The early bird special are perfect (Price is good and size). The fish is always fresh. And the A/C is running. We look forward to going there every year.”

“Got a fish sandwich at Berkeley Fish take out. Ordered a flounder sandwich. My daughter and I both agreed it was tasteless. Called up and complained and the worker said maybe it was frozen. I don't think so. I know my fish as I am 75 and have been eating fish a good many yrs. The fish had no substance, just soft. I think they substituted Tilapia for Flounder. Their Tilapia is 7 dollars a pound in the showcase and their flounder is 16 dollars a pound. enough said. I told them it is illegal to substitute fish without telling the customer.”

“My fiancé and I went to Berkeley Restaurant for dinner on a Friday night. They were overcrowded, but the hostess told us the wait was only "the time it would take to have a drink at the bar". The wait wasn't too bad. When we were told we could go upstairs to be seated, the hostess station at the top of the stairs was empty. We understood that they were very busy, but when a lady appeared, she seemed frazzled and rude. She grabbed two menus as quick as could be and rushed off. We were confused if she was just checking to see if the table was clean or available or if she actually wanted us to follow her. She came back and rudely asked "did you want to be seated or not?" I was so offended. Our server turned out to be very nice and the food was just ok, if you can put up with the rude hostess then hopefully the rest of your meal will go smoothly.”
