“I have been going to Toody's for years. Initially when the family re-opened in a new location the service was slow due to the volume. However the food is so good that I continued to go back. It seems to be much more streamlined now however if you're stopping by for lunch I recommend calling ahead. Recently they added pizza, beer and wine. The pizza is delicious! It's a nice thin crust traditional Italian pizza. If you're looking for a casual dinner in a nice atmosphere, this is the place.”

“Since the new owners have come into business this place has been horrible. Back in the day, I couldn't wait till I would stuff my face with that delicious meatballs and sauce. The wait for the food was also ridiculous, must have waited about 15-20 minutes for a stinking thing of sauce.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“They might as well hold a gun to your head when they ask for your money! I just went there for lunch; I didn't want to buy the restaurant! $9.19 for a drink. $1.75 for a 20 oz Gatorade. I paid and left, never to return and I work 20 feet from the place but Ill never go back and I ask you to stay away until they come back to earth with their prices!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“On a recent visit to this old institution the 1st week of October, myself and 2 old friends visited for lunch. What a complete disappointment. (We ordered the Rigatoni and Meatballs for $8.95 and it was not fresh. First of all the pasta was not the Rigatoni, it was more like Penne and it had been reheated of all things. The pasta was mushy and fell apart. What a shame for this once wonderful go to when in town to end up like this. I'm sure the original Father that started this place would be ashamed. If there are young kids running the counter they should know the difference in the pastas and not serve the pasta reheated? It should always be made fresh to order.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“Toody's is a Wakefield institution, but after years as a customer they have lost my business due to their new absurdly high prices! I went there for lunch today, and paid $9.40 for take-out shells and meatballs! I was so taken aback that I just paid and left. If I had been thinking more clearly, I would have just left and kept my money! The food is good, but the prices make this restaurant a poor value.” Popular Restraurants in WakefieldView all restaurants in Wakefield
