• The Ice cream.
• Only cash or check.

“Good location on Capital St. Tried the homemade vanilla frozen yogurt, pecan and cranberry salad and the vegetarian chili. Yogurt was some of the best I ever had. Worth the cash only limitation.”

• I definitely enjoyed the relaxed feel and the superb taste of Ellen's ice cream.
• The service could be better, but it was overall great.

“After a dinner with a friend, we wanted some ice cream and stopped by Ellen's. I asked if she makes her own ice cream, and she replied with a positive "YES!" At the time I didn't realize I was talking to Ellen herself. Later I found out she is very involved in the symphony, yet still keeps up that good business.”
