“Great place!! Best along the river walk if you like their style, as I absolutely do. Go there to relax and enjoy their sense of humor, they hire them on that quality. Pray to God they never become a normal restaurant. Poor Dallas seems to have gone that way.”

“Okay, the name pretty much explains it all. A good sense of humor is important if you are going to eat at Dick's. I think that if you can not take everything so seriously, then the whole atmosphere is fun. If you love to eat good food while joking around and having a good time, in a crazy but somewhat controlled (there are rules) atmosphere, then I recommend Dick's Last Resort. Personally, going there was one of the most fun experiences I have ever had while going out to eat.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“I dined at Dicks Last Resort San Antonio about a week ago. The basic idea of this restaurant is quite humorous. They are 'Dicks' and so therefore, they are mean to you. For the most part, it was just good fun with rude comments and what not. Sense of humor is completely necessary in enjoying this restaurant! In my experience alone, I was quite unpleased. However, I'll tell you upfront that the rudeness and everything had NOTHING to do with my decision, that just made me laugh. But to start the misfortunes, the waitress gave me the wrong food (which I am almost positive was not on purpose), I ordered a BBQ burger, and I got a BBQ chicken burger. I didn't send it back, I just ate it. After we were done eating, we started a restaurant-wide paper-ball fight. This was quite fun, I will admit. But once we got our ticket, she had not separated our food. We asked if she would because I wanted to pay with my credit card, but she refused. So I just paid for the entire bill with my visa. The 15% tip was added into the bill, naturally in a restaurant like this. So without complaint we just paid for our food and the tip all in one. I returned from my trip yesterday, and I went onto my Internet banking account to find that a $5 tip was magically added to my bill. I signed the credit card slip with the total being 23.60. And now with the help of MAGIC. I am paying 28.60. Now seriously cool to be rude to the customers and all, but NOT TO THE POINT OF FRAUDULENT CHARGES!! Unfortunately, I misplaced my receipt so I can't sue (or something along those lines) But the moral of the story is, if you do go to this restaurant. Give the rudeness right back to them. And for goodness sake, pay with cash!” Popular Restraurants in San AntonioView all restaurants in San Antonio
