Food:[4] • Service:[8] • Atmosphere:[6]

  • Service was friendly and fast.
  • Food was bland and did not have much flavor.

“Flat out - the food is bland. My girlfriend and I love trying new restaurants and I love going out in general. The menu sounds great and we were excited to try it but we were extremely disappointed. We each ordered a pasta dish, hers was chicken in a vodka sauce with rigatoni and I got a shrimp special that was supposed to be in a spicy marinara over pasta. They came out and both looked and tasted the same. I could not tell the difference between spicy marinara and vodka sauce. They were both bland and had next to no flavor; we dumped a lot of parmesan cheese on there but did not really help. I would definitely not go back.”

  • Great food, attentive service and very cool atmosphere!
  • Nothing.

“We absolutely love this restaurant, my fiance and I am always looking for good and close alternatives to the big chain restaurants. Viggiano's is perfect, it is family owned and operated and the service and atmosphere really project that. They have some amazing old pictures of their family on the walls, it's awesome. But the thing that keeps bringing us back is the food. We try to meet once a week after work and have a nice romantic dinner. I love the fact that they are a BYOB and the prices are so reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. Just a suggestion; don't leave without getting a cappuccino the real kind - not the push buttons some restaurants have) and one of their homemade desserts - we have tried them all and you really can't go wrong with any..”

  • The food is homemade, the service is amazing, it is family friendly yet perfect for a date night.
  • It is too far from where I live (Texas).

“This has to be my all time favorite restaurant. I went once and raved about of for weeks. I live out of state but get to this area about 2 or 3 times a year. I decided to go back the next time I was in Philly to see if I had exaggerated my claims about the superb food and service and atmosphere. It was just as I remembered.

I only wish I lived closer, I would go at least once a week. Ask your waiter or waitress for any specials. The management is friendly and professional, too!

I will be going again in April 2006! (it is Dec 2005 as I write this).”
