• I love sitting in the bar area. Chips & salsa is great.
• At times they are so busy you can't get a seat!

• The big block of cheese is cool.
• The whole experience was negative.

“Well I heard the food was good, I was so mistaken, the bread and complimentary cheese is cool, but the service was horrible, the place looked like a beat up country barn with horrible patterns the music was ugh, I ordered the filet mignon and it was the most disgusting thing ever, my husband had the gross country fried steak, the kids chicken tenders were good, overall disgusting. waste of and expensive meal.”

• I can not get enough. The taste is out of this world.
• I have to watch how much I eat or I will not be able to get thru the door.

“Gerardo's has got to be the best Mexican restaurant in the midland/Odessa area. We have looked and tried each and every one in town for a year and this one is the absolute best. The next best to Mexican home cooking. You have to try it for yourself.”

• Really good food, friendly people.
• Strange hours.

“I live in Midland but travel to Odessa, (about 20 miles) with my family to eat here. Husband has the trio fajitas and I have a tamp steak (something like that). We really enjoy the food, and unusually attentive service. We can only eat there on Friday nights because they're closed every other night of the week and only open for lunch daily. Strange hours for a restaurant but it's worth the trip.”

• The food is great!
• Can be slow getting the check.

“This is a great place to eat, especially if you're just on your way through town. The food is great, the people are so nice, and the owner is wonderful too! I grew up at this guy's house, and he's always taken as much care in his restaurant's food as he has his food at home. It's great, and cheap too! Less than $6 for an all day buffet.”
