Baron Mnfred Von Vrthaler Rest

from Bonney Lake, WA
Overall Rating: 3
Food:[4] •
Service:[5] •
Atmosphere:[1]
- View is outstanding.
- Cold, outdated and bland. Needs a makeover on the inside.
“Restaurant is completely outdated - service staff is nice - but the only food worth eating in my opinion is the pizza from downstairs. This place is always freezing and it has such potential with the beautiful views of the valley - but the outdated curtains, outdated tables, chairs, carpeting, and everything don't make it a very romantic place at all. Get Gordon Ramsey in here to give it a clean up, redo the decor, put in some plush red velvet curtains, and turn up the heat - and this place could be a 4 star restaurant EASY.”

- The pizzas were to die for the best I've had ever ate! The Pastas are all homemade and great.
- We don't have a Aversanos in Tacoma. We have to drive to Sumner.
“Really neat place. Kinda of the secret of Sumner. Once you find out about it you will always wanna come back. Good food. Great service and very reasonable The inside is very nice and clean! Love the old Bar! where did it come from? very cool! Need to check this place out! Great beer selections and wines. Good job!”

New Peking Chinese Restaurant

- All the food!
- It looks like nothing from the outside, don't let it send you away!
“I used to live in Puyallup, WA about 12 miles away and this was my favorite restaurant, all the food is incredible! Now I live in Oregon and it is a 5 hour drive to get there, but I have done it a couple time and taken food to go when I leave. We have no restaurants in the Bend/Redmond, or area to compare with New Peking. Their Mongolian Beef is to die for, all the vegetables are fresh and crisp and none of the food is greasy or heavy. Their shrimp and walnuts is more like desert, heavenly! Atmosphere is ok, but you don't go there for atmosphere. Sometimes I think about moving back I miss this place so much!”

“This is a great Chinese restaurant. The egg rolls are crispy not greasy, The Mongolian beef is excellent. The sauce on the sweet and sour pork was not the greatest. But overall, nothing was greasy and everything was hot and fresh.”
