• Fresh and tasty food along with a clean friendly staff and restaurant.
• Cole slaw should always be packed separate from hot food so it stays cool.

“We could see it was extremely clean and we were looking into the kitchen area. The service was awesome. They had a very friendly and clean staff. The wait was a few minutes but that is to be expected as it was cooked to order so we were fine waiting. The sweet tea was first up and it was perfect. The food was very good and fresh. The only thing I didn't care for was that the cole slaw was served in the container with hot fish and fries and not separate while the pinto beans were in a separate lidded bowl. Should have been the opposite IMO. The slaw was warmed a bit due to the heat from the fish. However, that being said. It was very good and fresh. I went back 2 days later for a small lunch. Just as good! Recommended!”

• Drive thru window convenient for those on the go.
• Frequently lines both inside and drive thru; guess their secret's out!

“Excellent chopped beef sandwiches; The ribs are great also! Potato salad is not bad either. Down home atmosphere is very friendly.”

• Lots of veggies and cold selection.
• I think not.

“The food was somewhat bland but the bars were filthy and food on the floors. The ladies restroom had toilet paper everywhere and there was big men I think I heard a teenage server that he was flirting with call him terry? All he was doing was sitting in the smoking section, smoking when the place was in dire need of a cleaning. Also I seem to remember this same guy when they had the one in Longview opened. How in the whole did he get a job over here? He's awful I assume he¿s supposed to be a manager. ”

• The waitress was very friendly and attentive.
• No check presented, you pay at register. Hard to figure out how much to tip.

“The chicken sandwich was tough, the fries cold with the consistency of cardboard. My husband got 6 little shrimp and half a stuffed potato. My hamburger was good but after waiting 45 minutes for the meal to be served I kind of lost interest in it. There wasn't any music or TV on and nothing much to look at. The bill came to almost $50. No wonder the place only had 2 tables busy on a Friday night. ”

• Onion rings are good.
• Slow service, fried potatoes served cold.

“There was a long wait for the food. The food was served after two other groups which came in after us. The fried potatoes were cold, the onion rings which were served midway through our meal were hot and tasty. If you like SLOW service, a surly attitude from the cook, and cold fried potatoes you will love this place.”
