Choo Chai Thai Cuisine
Jun 16, 2009 by
Deanna
Overall Rating: 9
Food:[10] •
Service:[7] •
Atmosphere:[6]
- Delicious, freshly made food.
- Most expensive Thai food in town.
“Summed up in one word. Delicious. Everything I have gotten from Choo Chai has been spectacular, from the pad Thai to the curry chicken. It does take a while to get your food, so don't go in and expect to be out in 20 minutes. The food is made fresh by the owner while you wait. I also like the at home-no frills atmosphere, but some may not. They recently raised their prices, though, so expect to pay 10 bucks. Even at lunch.”

Atmosphere:[2]
- It was Asian food.
- It wasn't yamagata Japanese steakhouse. It was dirty.
“This place is not very clean and the food was undercooked! If you would like to find a good Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse, try Yamagata Japanese Steakhouse! It is absolutely amazing and has both great services and a great atmosphere.”

Tokyo Steakhouse

- Great food, show, and service.
- None.
“Tokyo is the best Japanese restaurant in all of Lubbock! I have eaten at the other restaurants like Shogun's and Ohana's and was very disappointed with both. At shoguns when we sat at the table it was very dirty and at Ohana's the wait is extremely long. When I go to Tokyo I can expect top quality food and chefs with an award winning show. Also there is hardly ever a wait because Tokyo is such a big restaurant. They also have a very nice bar and the whole restaurant is decorated with a Japanese theme. I highly recommend going to this restaurant.”
