• Good bands, good food, nice people.
• None, as far as I'm concerned.

“My wife and I have been to Skinners quite a few times. We hardly ever go anywhere else. The food is good, especially considering the price, and the waitresses are great. Sometimes the heavy business on weekend nights causes new waitresses to fall behind, but everyone who works at Skinners seems to really want to help you have a good time. You may find better restaurants, but you won't find a better bar, or nicer folks. Skinners are a really unique place--funky Old South. At most clubs in this area, you will hear nothing but country music. Skinners seem to be dedicated to the preservation of classic rock--fine with me.”

• Food and service is lousy.

“My wife and I agreed that the food was terrible, along with the service. From the outside it looks very inviting, but once inside, it's a horrible experience.”

• Atmosphere, food, staffing - all good.
• Nothing negative to say about it.

“Excellent attendance by the waitresses and excellent food. A bit pricey - but the food is delicious and specially prepared - nothing in cooked in advance. You have to wait a bit for your food but its worth it. ”

• I will say their Apple Pie was good.
• Everything else was not good.

“I asked the waitress at the beginning of the order for mashed potatoes. I had to remind her and another waitress two more times. When I did finally get them - they were instant (as was the gravy and tasted of instant). The corn was "fresh out of the can". The restaurant was NOT busy this particular night (Tuesday). Finally, the waitress came around with my ticket and asked if we were ready to pay, if so, she would wait, and I said "Yes, we are ready" - OFF . I was furious and stated if she does not come in five minutes we are leaving without paying. Terrible tasting food and the service was terrible. I will never go back there.”
