• It did look friendly but the need to exterminate.
• The experience was awful for us.

“I had a cockroach jump on the table and the Country steak was terrible.”

• Close & intimate. The owner & her family greeted us like we were regulars & treated us well!
• No one goes there anymore - it's too crowded.

“I grew up with Tex-Mex and Sonoran families in the neighborhood and like Mexican food pretty well. The steaming hot homemade-style maize tortillas are just great for sopping up the last drop from the Carnitas! Lots of garlic, oregano, and cilantro and everything is fresh! Friendly folks, good atmosphere and just off I-5.”

• Table service by waiter was good.
• Food was not good and customer service was terrible.

“On the 26th July was driving by the Centralia, Washington Country Cousins Restaurant. From the outside it looked appealing and there were lots of cars outside so thought this meant that it would probably be good. Had turkey dinner and was most disappointed to find that the Turkey was dry and the gravy tasted terrible. Now here is my real complaint. The menu offered soup or salad with only one option for soup and if you wanted Clam Chowder it would cost 99 cents more. I did not want salad and chose soup. They were out of the soup of the day. Since I still wanted soup my only option was the Clam Chowder. When the bill came I was amazed to see that I had been charged 99 cents extra for the Clam Chowder. I disputed this charge as your menu did not offer an alternative for the soup and felt that I should not have had to pay this additional amount. The staff refused to deduct this. I could have gone to the management but as my time was limited chose as an alternative not to leave your staff any gratuity. Not exactly fair to them as they did provide excellent service and deserved at least a $5.00 tip. With such inflexible and poor customer service policy and the poor quality of the food received, I would not recommend Country Cousins Restaurant to anybody.”

• Waitress was very nice.
• Food was very disappointing.

“We both had the chicken fried steak. The worst we ever had. My wifes petite @ $10.95 was about the thickness of a breaded triccuit. Mine not much better @$12.95. Over cooked and funny taste. We complained, they knocked a whole $2.00 off. Bill was $23.72 with water after the big discount. Not likely to be back. Great place for travelers who are passing through. .”

• Atmosphere, eat in lounge at table hotel or movie theatre shoot pool.
• None at all.

“I ended up here by chance and I would gladly make the drive there (135 miles+) any night of the week just for the atmosphere the collets place I think I have ever been.”
