Sali's Pizza & Pasta

“Sali's is the BEST pizza in the Dallas area. It is run by honest-to-goodness Italians, so you know it's for real. The pizzas are huge with big slices like you'd expect from a New York pizzaria. Perfect amounts of sauce and cheese with incredible flavor. Their bread rolls are fantastic as are all of their Italians dishes. This place doesn't cost much at all, but you get tons of food whether you eat in or get delivery. This place is the best you'll find, so definitely go there. Just expect a long wait for your delivery orders, because they only have a few ovens.”

Outback Steakhouse
Jan 7, 2008 by

from Wylie, Texas
Overall Rating: 6

Atmosphere:[8]
- Excellent mushrooms, ceasar salad and mashed potatoes.
- Overcooked asparagus, very poor filet meat quality.
“After several successful filet dinners at this Outback location, the 1/6/08 dinner night was very disappointing. The filets, my wife and I always order, were excessively chewy, with grissle. Retrieving grissle from one's mouth more than once during a dinner with guests is uncomfortable. The steaks were ordered medium 'plus' and came back rare. We did not turn the steaks back because we were hosting our guests for dinner. My guess is that the inexperienced meat buyer was not in sink with Outback's high quality policy. No more Outback for me.”

Hubbard's Restaurant
Jul 29, 2007 by
Tim
from Frisco
Overall Rating: 9
Food:[9] •
Service:[9] •
Atmosphere:[9]
- The menu you don't eat but want to.
- Stay away from the pork chops.
“Hubbard has one description. Redneck hooters. It is comfort food, but you have to know the menu a bit to know what is good and what is not. The girls are how you would say, well assembled country girls. The cornbread is sweet cornbread and the rolls are hand made. As a native Texas boy, this is what I remember about Dallas before the Easterners and Westerners (AKA whiners) came to town. Texas Old School.”

- Friendly, comfortable atmosphere, clean, serves good food.
- Wish they hadn't discontinued some of my favorite menu items.
“I come here for lunch a couple of times a month. the service is extremely friendly, the food is good and is served quickly.
<>The staff has a very customer-centered attitude. They don't have blaring rock music playing, so it's a comfortable atmosphere.
<>it's a clean restaurant and they do a good volume of business.”
