• It's an old fashion saloon.
• There's not more like it!

“This is a great old fashion saloon! The bartender's are fast and polite. The prices are great! The Juke box is the best I've ever seen for rock and roll. Go visit, it's worth the stop for a cold one. There's plenty of parking for motor homes.”

• Need employees with better manners and skill.

“We arrived early in Aberdeen to have breakfast. The restaurant looked like a nice place, clean and orderly looking. The hotel wasn't pleasant, she seemed annoyed at the fact that we were coming into the building. Didn't greet us nicely. The coffee took forever to arrive at our table. The food took even longer. When we finally get our food, part of it was burnt. It tasted bitter like they were using bad oil to cook the hash browns We ate it and left quickly. We were in a hurry to get to a meeting and had no time to bother with telling a manager. There should be a manager in the front of the restaurant to check on guests as they leave. We still come to Aberdeen but we eat elsewhere. We also tell our friends not to go here. It will likely be a long time before we ever try to go back. Just too many other good places to eat in Aberdeen.”

• The placemat was nice.
• Everything else.

“I have ate here twice now, and found the food and service to be absolutely terrible. My first experience was two months ago when I had their breakfast buffet line. I'm usually not that picky, but the food was awful, the service was o.k. I went back a second time a few weeks ago for breakfast & had their county fried steak for $13.00. I was with a party of three, when the waitress finally came to our table, she asked me & my father in law what we wanted, took our drink request, but walked off as my husband was about to give his. Then she came back over ten minutes later, with no beverages, and blankly said. okay, what do you want?" so basically the service was terrible and when I got my food the $13.00 chicks fried steak was gross. It was covered in brown gravy, and the steak was mushy and possibly not cooked all the way. I've vowed to never ever go there again!”

• Terrible staff/management.

“Duffy's provided one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service was painstakingly slow and rude. After waiting for nearly 45 minutes, we finally received our food. I discovered that the vegetarian omelet I had ordered was filled with ham. After being ignored by my waitress for yet another 15 minutes, I went and talked to the manager. He proceeded to yell and threaten me with police action if I did not pay for the meal that I didn't touch. This place obviously thrives off of unsuspecting tourists.”

• They have the best blackberry pie!
• They sometimes run out of blackberry pie!

“If you haven't eaten blackberry pie a la mode at Duffy's, you haven't eaten the best ever blackberry pie in the world!”
