• Good food, pleasant staff.
• Second hand smoke, slow service (sometimes).

“Cafe Mojo has terrific food, most of it well-prepared. The combinations are creative and tasty. The standard menu has delightful options, but their specials are usually where it's at (using fresh, seasonal ingredients). They have a small but decent beer and wine list. The servers are, without exception, pleasant. But sometimes you wait a long time to get their attention, either to order or to be served. I have waited over 20 minutes to place my order in the past, which is frustrating when you're hungry! The atmosphere is not terrible, though the open dining area is less than cozy. Booths would be nice, or something to divide the space into more private areas. But the biggest problem with the atmosphere is the cigarette smoke! There is a bar area next to the dining room where smoking is allowed, and there is no fan or smoke-eater or anything. So you spend the whole meal choking on bad second-hand smoke, and then go home with your clothes smelling terrible. Dining here would be much more pleasant if smoking inside was not permitted, or if they at least had a machine to clean the air or keep it from drifting into the dining room! I would eat at Mojo's much more often if not for the smoke.”

• Food, atmosphere, people, service, attentiveness.
• You have to go home eventually.

“This place is the center piece in Urbana. The food is amazing and the specials constantly change. The people are fantastic and the service is impeccable. I am a traveler from Portland, Maine where fine dining is rampant. I would say that this restaurant meets the expectations and further more, goes beyond what you would expect. I have never had a bad meal or experience at Mojo I have been there at least 12 times. Go and enjoy!”
