• Best chopped with coleslaw sandwich anywhere. The shoulder is great to take home and chop or slice. The BarBeque sauce is great.
• I did not like the chicken.

“They have the best pork BarBeque around whether sliced or chopped hands down. you can buy by the sandwich, plate, pound or buy the whole shoulder.”

• Meats worth the trip.
• Sides are so-so.

“The Barbecued beef is great! Along with the pork. The sides are only so-so. Worth the trip, just a short distance off of I 95.”

• Great all-purpose restaurant; family friendly, romantic, casual and elegant.
• Opens only at 5:00pm.

“I recently made a business trip Petersburg, VA where I found this restaurant. It is located on a very charming street in Petersburg. The exterior is a beautiful brownstone...sophisticated and warm. There are two areas, a siting area and the bar area. The bar area is very much like what you would expect "Cheers" to be like: A few minutes after I arrived the first time someone entered and everyone at the bar greeted them. The food is very good and the restaurant owner seems to take advantage of the best locally grown products, so while the pub has a British flair you will be enjoying some very good southern food as well. For Desert I had the Creme Brulee twice and was not dissappointed. The Shepphard's pie and stuffed ravioli are excellent as well. Petersburg doesn't have that many restaurants so to say that this is the best restaurant in Petersburg really doesn't convey what a great restaurant this is.”

• Great atmosphere.
• Can get a little crowded.

“Great British style pub with excellent food. Menu changes frequently, but standard fish and chips always a favorite. Great salads. Nice bar. ”
