  • Restaurant is attached to a convenience store.

  • Everything its full of childhood memories.
  • Nothing.

“I grew up in Dalhart eating from Hodies since it was Ol' smokeys by jack n jill. Since I left 18 years ago I judge all barbecue by Hodies standards and I have not yet found any place even close to being as good as the food I got there.”

  • Service and food.
  • The free ice cream was not real smooth and creamy.

“Our waitress, and another one we observed, was very friendly and efficient. The soup and salad bar was excellent, even had chilled salad plates available. My wife and I had the "world famous chicken fried steak". It lived up to its billing and was freshly prepared, not a packaged type steak. It was more than my wife could eat, but I was pleasantly filled when finished.”
