- Loved my service and the food was great.
- None.
“Mandy served us 10/26/ 2007 and she was friendly and wonderful with a great personality. The food was excellent. We havent been there in years but I think I will start going often. The employees there were so friendly and I saw them working and never sitting down. My drink never went low. I always saw the managers there. They let me know I was wanted there and that they enjoyed me there, not feeling like they felt as if they were just there to work.”

- Best Japanese restaurant ever - and we travel a lot.
- Being seated at the table with people you don't know - but all Japanese restaurants to this.
“Speaking as a Lynchburg native, Kyoto is definitely our very favorite place to eat. They cater to everyone from the business traveler to the family with multiple kids. A quick note - they have a great lunch menu that is much better than most of the fast food Japanese take outs but the pricing is right there with everyone else. Dinner is a good value, but lunch is an even more amazing value. (Hit lunch on the early side - they open at 11:30, but don't start getting busy till 12:15 or so).”

- The shrimp tempura rolls were marvelous and the staff was really friendly.
- The place doesn't look very classy or hip.
“This cozy little restaurant is an unexpected dash of delightful Japanese food in a somewhat small town. The sushi is really delicious. I never expected to find such a quaint place here. Sure the actual building isn't lit like a hot club or something, the tables and chairs are fairly basic, as are the decorations, but the food and service more than make up for it. The prices aren't too high so even penny pinching college students can get their fill of udon or habachi. It is a great find.”

- The food is great, especially with yum-yum sauce and the drinks are good too.
- The food is kind of salty because of terriyaki.
“I love to eat there. They have great shrimp and lobster. The chefs put on a great and entertaining show of food and flames. I would recommmend to anyone who loves to get together with a group of friends and have fun.”
