• Decor.
• Service, food, wait time for food.

“Terrible service. We went there for lunch during the 4th of July, and the food was mediocre for the price, the service was so slow (25 minutes for a cold sandwich and chicken strips), and the staff was not very friendly. I was expecting a little more from a small-town dining establishment! For the price, I would suggest another venue to dine at.”

• Excellent food preparation, presentation and service. Rivals the 4 & 5-star brasseries!
• Poor location, hard to get to if not already in western Loudoun.

“Have had several large private functions here. But, they lost their lease in early 2007, and are reported to be looking for a location with more traffic, like sterling, to re-open at, hopefully before summer or fall 2007. The food is sublime, as are the one-of-a-kind hand-made desserts! We can't wait much longer for them to resurface! Also, their web site has been practically non-existent for the past 2 years. Hope they can straighter that out as well. William and his staff are great, and the experienced older wait staff is the best. Hope he can retain them as well.”

“French country fare, prepared and presented to perfection. Very romantic atmosphere. Highly experienced and talented chef, with 10+ years as a Souse Chef at Chez Francois in Great Falls. No other restaurant in Loudoun County comes close. Food rivals the Inn at Little Washington and Citronelle. Well worth the drive the Lovettsville. ”
