• A real Virginia experience. Local, delicious.
• Everyone chatting at the register took a little time to get checked out.

“I haven't eaten at the Goose in a few years. Heard it had new owners and checked it out. So much better now. Food is delicious (blue crab soup rocks. so does dessert). Wait staff excellent. Quick and attentive. New owners are friendly and most important, can cook. We stopped going years ago because it catered to blue haired old ladies who couldn't see the place was a bit run down. Completely different experience now. Best ham biscuits in VA. If you haven't been in a while you really owe it to yourself.”

• Amazing food and great service.
• Could use some more fine touches (i.e. decorating), front door is a little hard to locate.

“My husband and I went to Poquoson Seafood and Steak House on July 14, and it was awesome. It doesn't look like much from the road, and it's a little off the beaten path, but the food is out of this world! The crab cakes are the best crab cakes I have ever eaten, and the collard greens and spicy and delicious! Our server was awesome too, and we were in and out of the restaurant within an hour. The portions were huge and I had to take my dessert (banana pudding) home. We were staying in Newport News, VA, and looking for a good place for dinner. I searched online for restaurants that were local, and we didn't find much. We sort of found Poquoson on accident. It was definitely a happy accident.”
