- Decent food.
- Management lacks business skills.
“Joe's Diner advertises to be open 24 hours but decides to close whenever they please and blames it on their employees. The food is decent but there the only game in town so the service is extremely poor, slow in the kitchen and the ambience is a poor attempt of a 50's diner with a slack paint job. If your trying to use the bathroom you have to deal with the constant interruption because the management is to slack to fix the lock. You can barley read the menus due to the fact that they are photo copies with jam, water, and syrup spilt all over them. This town is in serious need of a Dennys, waffle house, or any breakfast spot other than Joes.”

- Large portions.
- Management, bugs, boring menu.
“Food is served hot, but so is the wine for which they charge an additional $2.00 corking fee read rip off. There are so many little bugs flying around that it makes you wonder if the place is sanitary. .”

- The food and the cheap prices are definitely a plus!
- The weird transition from a family restaurant to a bar which basically kicks families out and turns in chaos a lot of times. Get some A/C because it gets super hot!
“The Restaurant is obviously more of a college bar scene than a restaurant. The "All You Can Eat Wing-Night" is always a favorite of mine for Wednesdays and Sundays. Their salads and appetizers are extraordinary. The burgers and sandwiches are pretty outstanding as well. Overall, the food is relatively cheap and a good value, but the restaurant gets too smoky, too packed with people, and too hot for anyone to enjoy themselves for a dinner after 7pm. The brunch on Saturday/Sunday mornings is also an excellent value. I just hate overcrowded/understaffed restaurants/bars and it takes away from what they really have to offer.”

“Would be a splendid place if not for the pushy attitude of the owner. Wine night is also a rip off, they do not give generous portions and serve "crab cakes", with God knows what in them. Over books the reservations so 30 people are forced to fit into a room for 15. ”

“I dot know what happened with tom, but I have lived in Blacksburg for 20 years, and everyone here knows they have great food and service. If I waited 15 minutes to be greeted I would have gone to a manager, so I think tom is lying through his teeth. Anyways they won best pizza in nerve for 2006 and 2007 in the Roanoke times.”
