- Food and wine.
- Noise factor when busy.
“Wonderful Italian food. Great wood fired oven for authentic Italian pizza. A bit pricey but not a bad value. Nice wine list. Somewhat noisy when crowded because of metal ceiling that bounces the sound around.”

- Back when I was in my twenties I would have given it a 10+.
- Now in 2007 I would not be caught dead in there.
“Years ago I lived in Montpelier. Charlio's is not a family style restaurant. It is a place to go and get totally wasted. I also have seen some kick ass fights in that establishment. I am only grateful that I lived through that time of my life.”

Dairy Creme

- Great service, excellent soft serve, fun atmosphere.
- Not enough places to sit outside, and they should play 50's, 60's and 70's music over speakers.
“The Dairy Creme is the best soft serve ice cream shop in Vermont! With it's retro 50's building and color scheme, weekly flavors and generous portions, Dairy Creme offers the best bang for your buck. It's a very busy place with no inside facilities, so be prepared to stand in line, which suits everyone who likes to people watch and catch up on local gossip. Some flavors make rotations such as orange, lime or pistachio, but every flavor is good and of course, the cones come in sizes ranging from little people's to truly spectacularly huge. You can even take some home in a pint container. This is a friendly, active crème stand, and there a some picnic tables to sit at with your family. Drive in, park, and people watch as you slurp: this is the best place to watch folks, meet new friends, and of course, dig into the best crèmes in the state. Parents please note: There is a river just behind the building, so be extra careful when you bring small children.”

- Wonderful food.
- Can be slightly slow service.
“The food is wonderful. They make some of the best curry you will ever have. If you go on a busy night (a weekend night when legislature is in session, for example) you may have slightly slow service. However, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the food is definitely worth the wait. I've had multiple dishes, and they have all been delicious.”
