- Large menu.
- Freshness of dinner items.
“I was disappointed with dinner. Breakfast is ok. We were served cranberry sauce that had gone bad. Turkey dinner not up to par. Cole slaw that was homemade had a problem. The server was afraid to tell the boss. The reason I believe is because dinners are now slow with limited days. Breakfast is ok, but do not gamble on dinner.”

- Large menu.
- Freshness is a gamble.
“I was disappointed. Now that business is slow there is less turnover of food. I was served cranberry sauce with mold. The homemade Cole slaw looked good but tasted like bleach. Must have put it in a bucket that was not rinsed well. Turkey was dry and the dressing was a bread rock. We told the server and she was afraid to tell the boss. So we just figured we learned a lesson -- do not gamble on dinner at the Blue Benn.”

- Spectacular setting and beautiful décor.
- Hard to find.
“Even though the property and facility are both beautiful, the prices are very reasonable. Based on the appearance, the staff, and the quality of food I was expecting to spend a great deal more than we did. Multiple menus made ordering easy for my family and the scenery made the stop worthwhile all by itself.”

Hunter's American Grill

- The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. The food was scrumptious and cooked perfectly to our liking!
- There were no signs pointing to the restaurant. If you are not a local, it would be hard to know that this steak house existed.
“We were celebrating our daughter going off to college and wanted to have a special family dinner. We were pleasantly surprised! The Hunter's American grill was just the type of restaurant we were looking for. It was clean and had a warm inviting atmosphere. It was decorated like a hunting lodge; the antler light fixtures were a quaint touch. The view of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking. There was a seating area on the outdoor patio which gave a wonderful view, and could be very private and romantic. They have a large lounge area for more casual dining, or the large dining room. There is a fireplace for the cold winter evenings. We had a wonderful selection. We enjoyed prime rib and other cuts of beef cooked to our liking. The dinners come with vegetable of the day, potato and salad bar. The salad bar offered many wonderful toppings such as dried cranberries, golden raisins, sunflower seeds, and croutons. There were assorted greens, marinated artichoke hearts, tender baby beets, tomatoes, cottage cheese, broccoli, carrots & cukes. The meal was hearty and delicious. We were all too full to have dessert, but the dessert tray looked very inviting. The service was great and although it was expensive, it was well worth it. We all had a delightful time and plan to go again.”

- Delicious food, good prices.
- Don't take credit cards, small booths.
“This place rocks. The pancakes are huge, plate sized. Eggs are fabulous. Coffee is okay (but I'm a coffee snob). Real maple syrup, lots of vegetarian entrees (tofu scramble anyone?) They don't take credit cards, and a party of 5 and up may have to be separated (booths are small), but otherwise, this place is a gem!”
