  • You get your moneys worth.
  • Wait to get a table, but worth it!

“This place is great! They start you off with apple fritters and apple julep, very delicious! The best vegetable soup comes with almost every adult meal. If you're still hungry after that the food is absolutely delicious as well. There is usually a long wait, but it is very well worth it. My husband and I actually drove the 3 1/2 hrs to Pigeon Forge just to take my in-laws there to eat. Highly recommended!”

  • Very good food.
  • Sometimes there is a little wait but it is worth it.

“We eat here 3 or 4 times every time we go to the smokies, which is 3 or 4 times a year! The food is very good and you can even watch them cook your food. The prices are not to high, friendly service. Sometimes there is a little wait but it is worth it!”

  • Delicious food, beautiful surroundings.
  • Sometimes there is a rather long wait to be seated.

“If you are visiting this area, you have got to have breakfast at Apple wood! We have visited this restaurant several times and each time is wonderful. Breakfast is huge and the location of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The apple fritters and apple butter that is served with every breakfast is the best!”

  • Servers can be intrusive and seem stiff.
