Happy Sumo At Gate Way

- Creative food, outstanding service.
- No reservations.
“Some business associates and I eat here every year during the outdoor retailer show. It is such a surprise to think I can get better sushi in Salt Lake City, than I can in my home town of Portland. Everything is so fresh and creative. I would suggest any of their specialty rolls, or some sashimi. The staff is educated and friendly, and the atmosphere is hip and inviting. I would suggest this place to anyone. Put one in Portland!”

Wasabi Sushi

- The place was not very crowded.
- Bad food and bad service.
“This was the worst sushi restaurant that I had ever eaten at. The service was awful! After waiting 15 minutes to get a menu, it took another 15 to get a drink and there were only two other groups of people in the entire restaurant so its not like they were busy. Once we finally got our food, it took the waitress about 15 minutes to get us some chopsticks so we could eat. The sushi was awful. The seafood was old and tough. The all you can eat price is ridiculous, since you can eat all you want off of the revolving belt that only had peanuts on it. You can order off the menu and pay per plate, but the price isn't worth what they give you. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money going there in the first place.”

The Rusted Sun Pizzeria

Overall Rating: 7

Atmosphere:[5]
- Great food prepared each day by a small group of dedicated people.
- Small dining room can keep you waiting for a table at peak times.
“The Rusted Sun Pizzeria is known by many of the locals more for their calzones than pizzas. They bake a great pie from homemade sauces and dough. The restaurant is in an old era diner with only six tables and a counter that seats eight, so if atmosphere is important, you may want to look elsewhere. If you want a place to enjoy a good beer and a fantastic calzone with people you can relax with, this is for you. Try the combo, bleu chicken, or roundup. You can also build your own with great ingredients like artichokes, sweet red onion, feta cheese, pine nuts, spinach, grilled chicken and sausage. Their beer selections include a few of the local microbrews such as Uinta's Cutthroat Pale Ale and King's Peak Porter.”

“I think the food is not that great. Spaghetti Factory is better right across the street and less expensive.”
