- There is nothing good about not getting your order at all.
- Total incompetence.
“Never before have I just not gotten an order from a pizza place. Until I ordered from Carbone's in Hudson WI. At the time of my order (8:40 on a Sunday night) I was told that the delivery would take about 45 minutes. An hour and twenty minutes later I call to see if there was a problem with the order. I was told they were busy and that they delivery was ready and leaving with the next driver in 5 minutes. 40 minutes later. Still no delivery. I called again. I was told that there was an error with a delivery and that it would be right out and that I would not be charged. A half hour later I called again. This time I asked to speak to a manager. None there. I asked about my order. I was sitting in front of the gentleman on the phone. I ask if it was going to be delivered or not. I was told that it was up to me if I still wanted it but all the drivers had left. I said no it is up to you. Are you going to deliver it or not?" He hung up the phone and they closed for the night. No food for me.”

Overall Rating: 7

- Cheap food, fun atmosphere.
- Poor service.
“Great specials during the week that include dollar burgers and taco night. There is a dinning room separated from the bar that is family friendly. Service was not great. I'd suggest ordering two drinks at once, because it's hard to catch your wait staff again. Smoking is allowed in the bar area, not sure about the dining room.”

- The quality and taste of the food is always good to excellent.
- When the service is at its best, it is mediocre. Breakfast hours on the weekend.
“I live in the Hudson area but travel about 50-60k miles a year, so I eat out a lot. Good to very good food - nice change from the typical interstate chain swill in Hudson. They serve breakfast on the weekends which is also very good - but they stop serving at 11am on sat. No exceptions. My wife and I walked in the door at 11:02 last sat. Morning and couldn't get breakfast. Not that it was crowded and they were in the middle of lunch - they weren't serving that either. But breakfast was definitely finished. Still wanting breakfast, we ate at dick's bar instead. Ive been eating at San Pedro and occasionally bringing friends and business associates there off and on for years. Been through the menu changes, good to bad and back to good again. But the one thing that has remained consistent is the service. That always seems to be poor - when the place is more than half full it seems to be a real struggle for the staff.”

Smiths Bob Sports Club

“Bob smith's sports club is simply one of the coolest places around. The atmosphere is very friendly and down to earth, and the food is excellent. This place has always been a supper club and cocktail lounge and steak is the specialty, but the chicken and roast beef are also first rate. The decor is very old, but well kept and everything from the wallpaper to the lighting appears to be original. In fact, there are so many old, interesting paintings and other artifacts that this place is almost like a museum. They mix a mean cocktail (my five is the brandy Manhattan) and host a karaoke night once per month. If you are every in the area, be sure to stop into the sports club. Places like this that aren't boring and contrived, and just don't care about frivolous things like following trends should be supported as much as possible! As if this place wasn't cool enough, before they relocated a local, original rock band called grip ion used to hang out here all the time! Bob smith's sports club gets a perfect 10.0!”

San Pedro Cafe

- Wonderful food that is seasoned well.
- Slow on the refills, mostly high top tables for seating.
“I love San Pedros. I go with my husband in the evenings 1-2 times a month and I go to lunch 1-2 times a month with my good friend. In the evening the lights are turned down and there is a stone hearth for cooking. It is a little noisy when full. It not good for kids because they only have 3 booths and all the other tables are the high stool type chairs plus I don't think they have a kids menu. The tables are a little close, but I¿ve never minded. It is decorated well. Now to the food! Its wonderful. I've had a couple of their pizzas both were good. Their fish taco was good, but you have to like corn tortillas. Their pork dish was excellent. We love their chicken nachos. They are not a normal nacho. They have chicken and cheese and homemade chips and guacamole drizzle and aloe sauce. They are my favorite. My friend and I usually share that and the Rasta pasta. It¿s spicy and wonderful! You now get a salad with it and bread and if you like ice tea, I know it sound silly, but they have the best ice tea. The down fall is that in the four years I¿ve been going there, I usually have to ask for a refill, not just given one. And if you are a dedicated Splenda user. They now have it. I've also had a couple of their deserts. Very good.”
