• Menu shows creativity, especially for a chain.
• Noise level--although that is the patrons, not the restaurant. Texans yell.

“Carino's has good food and good service. The menu is varied enough to please almost everyone and the food is prepared well. The restaurant can accommodate large groups as well as twosomes. It is not a romantic, candle on the table restaurant, but in an Italian restaurant deprived area, one takes what one can get.”

• Cajun popcorn appetizer, Rasta pasta entree, chicken tsarina entree are very good.
• Servers tend to congregate around the computer and chat among themselves. Manager needs to get a handle on his staff.

“Buzzard Billy's Swamp Shack (formerly Buzzard Billy's Armadillo Bar & Grillo) is now just off I-35. It moved from the University Parks location. The food is good and the service was adequate. Try to get a booth or table with a view of the river, or eat on the deck, weather permitting. Their version of Cajun food is good, if not terribly authentic.”

• All around great.
• None.

“Love the food it has a family oriented atmosphere that I really appreciated, great friendly service and good prices for great food, I go there at least 2 times a month and will continue to do so until I no longer love here.”

• Friendly service. Clean environment.
• The excessive rate of speed allowed for the drive-through customers. Needs monitoring.

“This review is for the Gatesville location. I am never disappointed in the service or quality of food, except for the one-time when the fries were not fresh. Thus, a rating of 9.”

• Hot and sour soup, great price, huge portions, Kung Palo Shrimp and chicken.
• Not more locations across Texas.

“Awesome food. My favorite Chinese food ever and I've been to a lot of places. The hot and sour soup is amazing, sometimes I get 2. The chicken and shrimp Kung Palo Style extra spicy knocks my socks off. The price is around $6 bucks a meal. Not a Buffet, but well worth a lunch time trip. Great portions. I've gone there since they were outside the Lake Air mall (Over 10 years) I'm a big & loyal fan. Don't waste your time at any other restaurants, hit up magic china. If you don't like it you don't know Dank Chinese.”
