• Food was very tasty, fresh and very well prepared.
• Nothing.

“Recommended by a friend. We all had the lunch special with Blackberry Cobbler. It was wonderful. Great salad bar, the dinner rolls were the best. We all loved the beans and cornbread bar. Overall the dinning experience was the best. Our waitress was very good. I look for to visit again. My only regret is that it is not closer to San Antonio.”

• Everything was great and out of this world. Good food and clean restaurant.
• Nothing at all was negative.

“All I can say that I had never ever tasted a chicken fried steak like the one at the Back Street Cafe. It was absolutely fantastic. The salad bar was great great! A group of us went and enjoyed the best dinner in a very long time. The waitress was great, very attentive and with the biggest smile.”

• Rude waitresses that need to learn out to do their jobs.

“First when it was time for us to be seated we had to wait because once we got to our table it was dirty, so we had to stand there and wait. After that we sat down and after 10 minutes nobody had came to even say hi to us. We had to stop a waitress to get some service. They have a bean bar (one kind of bean and corn bread) is not a bean bar and a salad bar, but there was never any bowls or plates, people were waiting in line to get a plate, then it took 45 minutes to get our food, and during all that time, none of the waitresses came to our table to tell us that it was on it's way or anything like that, the waitresses don't care. They just talked among themselves instead of doing their jobs.”

• I really don't have a good thing to say.
• Rude waitresses, bug problems, expensive meals.

“Let me first say that the first thing I noticed when I entered this establishment was the unkempt environment. Dirty tables and silverware. It also lacked that hospitality feeling, especially since the waitresses were so rude to boot. But it was only after ordering our food, had to wait about 25 minutes, that we noticed the bug problem. Mainly roaches and gnats. Never ever will my family and I go there again.”
