• The atmosphere is wonderful!
• Something needs to be done about the parking. I feel sorry for the residents on the street.

“This is a great date restaurant. Parking can be a challenge, and you should be prepared for a wait. They have a nice waiting area with plenty of seating. There is a bar right next to the hostess stand, so you can have a margarita while you wait. My favorite is the sangria margarita, very good! The food is good, not the best I've ever had, but very good and the atmosphere is wonderful!”

• The food, especially those tortillas!
• Finding a spot to park.

“My adult daughter and I were in San Antonio for the weekend and happened upon Nichas while touring the local Missions. We figured it had to be good, with all the cars in the lot- it was packed! But we were seated within 5 minutes and the food was at our table within 5-10 minutes of ordering. I had Fajita Fiesta large chunks of grilled chicken in a tortilla, topped with cheese sauce. It also came with rice and some kind of seasoned beans in a bowl- not refried beans, but almost like a bean soup. It was all delicious. We took the extra tortillas back to the hotel and ate them the next morning for breakfast. They were sublime. Thick, a bit chewy ever so slightly sweet.”

• Food tastes good, and a fairly priced.
• Exterior needs paint, and good bus help needed.

“Nice to get away here from many of the bigger Mex. joints along the river. Owners seldom seem to be there, and thus fail to communicate well.”

• Food is good and pleasant atmosphere.
• Service is sub standard.

“It's pretty much a tourist trap. But food is good. The service is not friendly and waiters are even rude and some speak little or no English.”
