- Quality and preparation of all food.
- No written menu/no prices to compare.
“Food was excellent. Large portions. As first time diners and not being from the area, we did not know that there are no menus (hence, no prices). The waitress recited the offerings - all beef/steak or seafood (with the exception of pork and veal specials). They do have a limited kids offering - pizza or chicken nuggets, I believe. The bartender offered a shrimp dip to start. The onion soup was awesome. Steaks were cooked to perfection. The bread was delicious. Desserts sounded great - not exotic, but comforting - wish we had room! It was a good value, but pricey for 4 entrees (no alcohol or desserts). A great place if you want to treat yourself!”

- He breads basket & the frozen peanut butter pie.
- The fish wasn't fresh; I think it was frozen & the prime rib was overcooked and under flavored.
“Local friends of ours recommended it, and we were two couples trying to have a nice dinner. The drinks were outrageously expensive; we only had one alcoholic beverage and still spent $25 on drinks. The prime rib was over cooked and lacked flavor, and the stir fry was too salty. The highlights of the food, were the bread basket, excellent poppy cake and the desert; frozen peanut butter pie delicious! I would go for desert only if I went back.”

- Good food, excellent soup.
- They need more experienced help and a bartender.
“We stopped in because it is so close to the racing, and they were open late, the food was very good, and the service was friendly but 'green,' my only complaint was that there was no bartender, so I waited a long time for a drink.”
