• Proximity to my house!

“Cannot wait to go back. The food was fresh and healthy. I could live on their cabbage. Excellent service. A romantic, quiet atmosphere. Very nice for a special occasion more than a family eatery. I would not bring young, screaming children. That's just my opinion. I loved it.”

• The service and cleanliness is atrocious!

“The menu at The Green cafe is vegetarian and they really do create spectacular dishes and if you can get past the generally unclean feel of the place (which I absolutely do) then the food is well worth the experience. Service is pretty much non-existent, you have to interrupt gossip to make an order and forget table-side service. I once watched a girl drop a cooking spoon onto the floor and pick it up and put it straight back into the pot. Did this make me cringe?--YES! Did it make me leave? No! And that is because the food is phenomenal! My personal favorite is the Black Bean Fritter plate which is comprised of black bean fritters in a pita with fresh veggies and salsa and tofu sour cream (which I can't duplicate for anything in the world!) On the side is this magnificent orange-garlic-ginger brown rice that is to DIE for! This may seem like a mixed review, which it is, but as long as they keep they quality of the food up, I can easily get past the atmosphere!”

“The California Chicken Cheese steaks are Excellent! Love their pierogies. Rather take out then eat in though. Small place, not a whole lot of booths. But Very Friendly people there. YUMMY!”
