• The homemade cheese raviolis are my favorite.
• Don't get there late. They'll vacuum under your feet I'm told. And, don't ask what's in the sauce nor the salad dressing--it's a secret.

“Everything from Italian to the decor and coziness of the restaurant will make you feel like a guest in Jim's home. Jim's secret salad dressing is simple and doesn't steal attention from the fresh, crisp iceberg lettuce. The bread is always fresh and savory. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. In fact, if I had to describe the food at Jim's in one word. It would be delicious-savory-treats. Everything from the Jim's secret spaghetti and meat sauce to the moist and delicious meatballs will have you wanting more even craving it fortnightly.”

• The risotto is to die for. Sometimes I'll order a dish just to get it.
• Nothing! They now serve legal spirits.

“We have dined several times at this gem of a restaurant. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. The wait staff is very attentive and now they have a liquor license (try the raspberry lambic). You can sit upstairs in the theater lobby and sip martinis and spend a night in the hotel. Haven't done that yet but did tour the rooms. It's just a hop from Penn State and a lot quieter.”

• There's only one.

“Atmosphere. This place is too deep for the shallow minded. Excellent representation of the town and what its all about. Food, outstanding. Starbuckies need not apply. Highly recommend!”

• Best food in Bellefonte.

“Jim's is the best place ever in Bellefonte; they have a variety of foods to choose from. It's a small. Quaint business and everyone is so friendly especially the waitresses really do a wonderful job with all the customers and if you've ever been there on a Friday or Saturday night, it's crazy but worth waiting for a table. I've never had anything there I didn't like. The Chip Cheese Steaks are out of this world.”
