• Conveniently located next to a Mexican Groceries store! Cook yourself!
• Food quality dismal.

“For the last 12 years, we've always enjoyed the 60 minutes drive to El Sombrero, at least 4 times each summer. Unfortunately, our first trip in 2009 will be our last. We purchased over $80 of food to go (2 Tortas De Carnitas, 9 Tacos de Asada Al Pestor, Chicken Flautas, Tortilla Chips, and 3 Large Horchatas) but when we got home, we found extreme blobs of fat in our sandwiches (Tortas) and the Tacos. To go orders do not get chips so we bought their bagged chips only to find them stale upon our arrival. Their to-go service was dismal. For a $3.50 tub of guacamole, I'm glad we didn't buy that. I will make the drive to buy the food next door at their store, but visit them to spend my hard earned money on their food, never again.”

• Waiting but who doesn't.

“The food is great, it all tastes fresh. I've been going there since I was little, the owners are amazing, the nicest people you ever meet, the atmosphere is very family friendly. The food is definitely worth the wait. The best thing I liked was the fajitas over the mini grills they present them on.”

• I love the variety of starters and entrees. Makes a great Cosmo.

“The Farm House offers consistant top quality and attention to detail, with gracious staff, delicious food and relaxing atmosphere. I have enjoyed dining there as a special treat for 12 years and really appreciate having such a great place in the area. A wondeful place to go for a special occaission or great date.”

• The service was great and the food was delicious. The wait staff was very helpful.
• The music was a little boring.

“Upon entering the restaurant I was immediately greeted by sweet and beautiful hostess, who help my wife, our child and me to our table. The waitress soon followed and provided menus and went over the specials, which included and crab bisque soup (which I told was summertime special - it was very good). The waitress was very attentive and went out of her way a couple times to show us she wanted us to enjoy our night. I want get into details, but you with kids out there no what I mean. Dinner was great. I had Dover fish and my wife had penne aribiata. We both had the Cesar salad (which I read in another review) was made at the table and delicious. The fish was good and my wife said the penne had a nice spicy kick to it. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to any couple out to have a nice dinner. Their price was very good (around $65-70 for two entrees, two salads, a childaa"s meal, and carafe of red wine).”

• Authentic Mexican food.
• Bathroom.

“Very authentic Mexican food. Haven't had it like this since I was in Mexico! There is a little take out stand in the store at which you order. It does take awhile to get your order. The shredded beef burrito and cranes azadas are my favorite dishes. If you want true, authentic Mexican food. Check this out. Just don't use the bathroom. ”
