• The food is always great!
• Portions are a bit too big for me.

“It is simply the best food in Lake Placid. No one make a better Lobster bisque. I have eaten here many times and I have always been completely satisfied. Whatever the chef recommends is worth trying.”

• Good $12 margarita.
• Rude owner. Bad food.

“Service is okay. The food is utterly regrettable. Chicken dishes come with large cubes of over cooked bird. Beef dishes were overcooked and cold. Sauces were burnt onto the red hot plates. They did make a good 12 dollar margarita. I would avoid this place unless you like the view of the Citgo outside the front entrance.”

• The burritos.
• The owner (often is the host) is one of the rudest people Ive ever met.

“Food was okay, drinks were okay, and the waiter was okay. The owner whom my sister informed me often is the host basically forced us from our seats after our plates were cleared even though we just got new drinks. Apparently since I paid the bill as soon as our check arrived he expected us to down our drinks and leave.”

• Parking, too much alcohol advertising.

• Food was tasty.
• Prices are a bit high.

“We ate a quiet lunch there in late January this year (2007). The food was quite good -- starting with roasted pepper bisque, continuing through sandwiches, and finishing with latte that far outpaces the franchises. Service was fine. Ambiance was influenced most strongly by having the tables fairly close together...”
