• Large tables for large groups.
• Attitude and service.

“They did not like food being sent back (under cooked), waited too long for a drink and was not asked if they needed freshening until desert, some staff was rude, veg was not what they informed me it to be, then I was advised that I shouldn't have been told what it was at all, I advised as I was eating and paying for the meal. I feel I should know what I would be receiving in case I was unhappy with the selection so I could change the order. All in all if you dine out, as often as we do, and expect a courteous, polite and decent standard of service then this is not the place.”

• The people were nice.
• Pizza was nasty.

“The crust isn't too bad, but the sauce and cheese are nasty. Never again.”

• The walls of the rest are abound with beautiful original paintings.
• Smoking was permitted at the bar but has now been discontinued.

“I say that the restaurant is family friendly as well as romantic because there are 3 separate dining rooms. For the real romantic there is a terrace with about 4 tables and beautiful tree coverings and fresh flowers surround the terrace. Last week I had a lamb shank as my entree. I do not know of another rest. That serves this enter. It was superb. My dog Freddie was also pleased by the bone. Granted the lamb shank was a special for the evening. The rest has at least4 to 6 specials and that is the major reason why I frequent the rest.”

• The pizza pies are the best.
• Parking on a weekend can be tough but worth it.

“Marrone's pizza is the best - light and airy crust, sweet sauce and real cheese that is not grated but instead sliced. Their pepperoni is small and a bit spicy. Order the small pie, not the large as the crust and consistency is better. Their drink selection is also varied. One last tip - bring cash - they do not take credit card.”

• No delivery.

“Best pizza ever. Thick crust but crispy fire oven bottom. I eat a whole one easily, and they are big pizzas.”
