• Food, atmosphere, price.
• Very slow.

“I love this place. I eat here at least every other week. I don't really feel that the restaurant is very romantic but perfect take-out food for dates. It is often busy and they are not very fast but if you have about 45 minutes to spend on a meal then I recommend this very much. Cheap and absolutely wonderful.”

• Clean, spacious.
• Expensive, average service, disappointing food.

“Went there just a week ago for dinner. I ordered well-done Redeye. It turned out that the steak was so dry, tough, a little bitter because it was burnt a little and too salty. Very disappointing. The waiter wasn't as polite as I expected, compared to other restaurants. Paid $5 for the salad bar, it's not worth it.”

• Counter customer service was good.
• Cook couldn't understand English, my order had to be redone 4 times!

“Although the food was good, it was nearly twice that of Momiji, also it took 4, yes four tries to get my order right. I ordered vegetable Yakisoba. Despite the counter girl explaining to the cook, no polo, repeatedly, which I witnessed there were still 3 botched attempts where my food was prepared with chicken anyhow. It was more than a little irritating since I was ordering takeout in order to return to the office. The food ended up tasting fine, although I have to wonder how much spit made it into the dish.”

• Very good food and atmosphere.
• Little and tight parking.

“Kwan's has some of the best and most unique Chinese food in all of Salem, the restaurant is uniquely laid out and has been in business for many years and creates a unique atmosphere unlike any other. The owner himself will frequently walk around to tables and socialize with his guests, if you become a regular he will even get to know you and recognize you. There food is excellent! Some highlight enters include the War Won Ton, Strawberry Chicken, Imperial Rice, Lemon Chicken, and there Parchment Chicken is an excellent appetizer.”

• Love the food and the staff.
• Threes not much parking.

“My entire family absolutely loves this place! Its more spend then Denny¿s, but the food is so good, and the service is excellent. We have never had bad food or service in our experiences at almost home.”
