• The 4 meals were elegantly prepared and presented.
• The people beside us sat there and ate those wonderful desserts and we were just too full.

“Just got back on from a 150 mile trip to eat at the Nic L Inn restaurant and it was worth every mile. It was the first visit for the four of us. Service was superb. We were immediately seated and during the meal all needs were met without someone hovering over us. Food was beautifully prepared and served. Steaks we had were very tender, done just right, and smothered in cheese and red peppers. Imported beer for $3! We really enjoyed our visit and will go back. Both couples had the Erie Fine Dining card which was accepted on the night's specials. Saw some elegant desserts but too full for us to enjoy.”

• Clean.
• Poor service. Overpriced dessert (small Portion size), food is mediocre.

“The restaurant was very pretty. It is well kept up, has that rustic feel to it. It feels like eating in a log cabin home. The only thing that bothered me about the place was the service. We arrived at 10 minutes before 7 p.m. for our dinner reservation. We go to the main lobby, we don't get greeted. The waiting is area is very small. We had to go up to the desk, and tell them who we were. We were waiting to get seating; people were coming in after us, because they had bigger parties. They were seated before us. I finally spoke up, asked them when we were going to get seated. We didn't get seated until 7:25 p.m. Also, I did tell them we were celebrating our anniversary. I asked for a table, which was by a window, or fireplace. They put us, literally, next to the kitchen door. Very poor service. I would not recommend it. The waiter was serving us too fast. He took our salad bowls, before I finished it all. The salad was bland; they don't put croutons on it. The food, was all right, too pricey for me. We asked for dessert. The portion sizes of dessert a small, overpriced. I would never go back there again, I rather go to Mc Donalds, than that place.”
