- Excellent show and very good food.
- Nothing, we were very impressed.
“The food was excellent. We had several choices. The food was hot which was hard to do in a dinner theatre. The show had amazing talent for an off Broadway venue, as good as anything I have seen on Broadway. The value for dinner and a show was incredible.”

“I have been dinning or ordering out (there) for some fifteen years perhaps. Always to the joy of excellence, a place to come back to. A lot has changed - greeting at the door is reluctant almost to a degree of you are not welcomed. The manager was arrogant, rather rude. What made matters worse, fish was not fresh (tuna was dull grey rather than shinning red). That was my last visit.”

- Fairly authentic Japanese food.
- Fairly authentic Japanese food.
“This is not an American-style Japanese restaurant (which in this area, and points north, are run not by Japanese at all, but almost exclusively by ethnic Korean, Chinese, or other non-Japanese personnel). The food at Ichi Riki is prepared to favor the Japanese, not the American palate. That is why this restaurant may not be the best choice for those who are not familiar with, and/or don't really like, authentic Japanese food as it is served in Japan. On the other hand, judging from the reactions of the Japanese customers, I believe this to be a wonderful place for Japanese expatriates, tourists, and business travelers to get some good home style Japanese cooking. As far as service is concerned, it was fine when I was there, and concerning the friendliness (or lack thereof) of the wait staff, I think the attitude of the diner will have a lot to do with that. I'm a typical looking Caucasian American who went to this restaurant by himself, and I didn't speak Japanese. But I went there with a friendly attitude and found the staff correspondingly friendly and attentive.”

“The show Phantom was very good. The service was very good but the food was awful. My husband is still sick from it.”

- Close to my friend's house.
- Almost everything.
“I was in town for visitation. My friend took me there, he is not very fond of Japanese food, but since I am, he took to Ichi Riki. The decoration of the restaurant was fair, nothing fancy. But we had hard time communicating with wait staff. I guess the majority of the patrons were either Japanese or Koreans, so we were kind of unwelcome or at least somehow that's the way I felt. Anyway food was poor and service was slow. I would go back any more. .”
