• The atmosphere.
• Bug on food - burnt food - owner cooking.

“My daughter and son-in-law went to North side restaurant with their 2 children to celebrate the birth of their new baby girl. The owner was doing the cooking so the food should have at least been acceptable. The first dish to come out was their 3 year old daughters chicken fingers. Two of these were cooked fine, the 3rd however was burnt. It looked as though they had left it in the fryer way too long. The next two plates to come out were Veal Parmesan and Chicken French. The Veal was dry and believe it or not the Chicken French had a large bug on it. This bug was very obvious. Is there really an excuse for this? My daughter and son-in-law were not confrontational people and although the very kind waitress apologized and took the Chicken French back to the kitchen it was too inconvenient and after the prior incidents who could eat what was brought to the table. Remember this was a family with a three year old and a new born baby. Getting out to dinner was a rare event and sitting for hours was not an option. I feel the owner took advantage of a nice family. If this was what he did to them, what can one expect to eat there. If you would have just stopped out and apologized at the very least. Food for thought.”
