• Food quality & flavor outstanding - true Italian home cooking!
• Small dining room, but the atmosphere is very charming & inviting.

“Always a pleasant dining experience. The staff treat you like family. Actual linens on the tables! Very refreshing to see that. Wait staff/support staff are very friendly & extremely polite.”

• Fresh and excellent prepared entrees.
• A little small wine list.

“Pizza is the best in town. I really like the Salmon in the blush sauce and the Lobster Rav's.”

• Calamari, veal.
• Restaurant is a little on the small side.

“Excellent entrees, seafood was real fresh and prepared to satisfaction. One of the best Italian restaurants outside of So. Phyla, very consistent, been there many times, even their Pizza's are great, thin crust-brick oven, just like in Italy. Reasonably priced also.”

• Downtown West Chester is nice.
• The owner is rude/obnoxious; the food is substandard.

“I ate at Gilmore's a couple of weeks ago because I'd heard that the food is good, especially the foe grass. Well, all I can say that this restaurant did not meet my expectations whatsoever. The restaurant itself is small and seriously lacking in atmosphere. The service wasn't particularly good, either. As for the food, by no means am I a foodie, but I don't see what all the fuss was about. There's really nothing special about it. Not only that, but the owner/chef had come out to greet some of the diners, and I saw him being very rude to an elderly woman with a walker who was having trouble getting to the restroom. Personally, I won't be going back to Gilmore's any time soon. Not sure why anyone even thinks of this restaurant as anything above "mediocre."”

• The food is amazing every time!
• Sitting near the bar can be smoky, but there are several rooms, so request one of those for some distance.

“There are so many restaurants to try in West Chester, but we keep going back to Alberto's because it is just so pleasant every time we go. The food is outstanding; the service top-notch. Often, the chef will come out to see how things are, which I find very professional. The staff at Alberto's is most certainly aiming to please! It is also fun to arrive early for a drink at the bar. The live piano music is fun, too.”
