- Loved the small, cozy, intimate, yet country decor. Very quiet. Food was fresh, just cooked as you waited.
- None.
“One word. AWESOME. Note; be prepared to wait awhile to eat. The prepare your food fresh, so they'll be grilling & BBQing for a little bit. Six, relax, have a drink or appetizer and enjoy the warmness of the small town of Beacon.”

- Good food, good wine, good service all around!
- It sometimes gets a little bit hot sitting by the fireplace, but you can easily turn the gas off!
“You have the best of both worlds here - the main entry brings you into their pizzeria. Great food and casual dining. A family favorite. Continue walking into the back of the room where you have a choice of a larger dining room as well as a smaller dining area with a bar. Want a romantic dinner? You could sit in either section. The brand new bar area has a toasty fireplace for those cold weather nights. The front dining area has a lovely atmosphere as well. The food is delightful and a bargain as well. You can't go wrong for a night out here. I've never had to make a reservation - this is one of those great finds - make it a point to go here!”

- At home feel.
- Decor needs to be ignored.
“A favorite of the locals, you'll see their photos in collages at each table. This place has character in place of decor and the best homemade bread and pies around for miles. Get anything but make sure it's on the homemade bread. Or call and order a loaf in advance.”

- Boneless chicken chunks rule.
- Service is only ok, but not that bad.
“This restaurant is really good. The funny and some what eclectic menu is an attention grabber. The best thing on the menu in my opinion is the boneless chicken chunks. Hot is very hot but good. For a spice fanatic like me, even I have to get the "smack your mama" sauce on the side. It's so hot, you sweat like a cartoon character, but it still has a great flavor. Service is only ok, but not bad.”
