• The calamari was good. .
• Filthy place. .

“Poorly managed. Restaurant is dirty. Dirty glasses, dirty silverware. The food was decent but took forever to arrive. Rowdy patrons, snotty nosed kids running amok. This is nothing but an overpriced chucky cheese. Will never return. .”

“We found the food to be delicious and well prepared, but the service was atrocious. We were basically forgotten, and had to ask other wait staff and even the hostess to assist us. As we left, I informed the manager of the poor service, but he seemed disinterested in correcting the problem, mumbling something about how it was an anomaly and that I should have brought it up earlier in the evening. He left me with the impression that no corrective action would be taken. I could forgive occasional poor service, but not poor service combined with a lackadaisical manager. From now on, we will avoid the cattle baron and seek other steak & seafood houses in Ruidoso.”

• Service and food was disgusting.

“Fifteen minutes after we were seated, the waiter took our order. There were 4 of us and we ordered 2 shrimp cocktails, one chocolate dessert, and one pizza. 45 minutes later, the food was brought to the table; the shrimp were warm on a plate, not even on ice! They say it comes with cocktail sauce on the menu but it was a marinera (sp) type of sauce and when I asked for cocktail sauce I was told they didn't serve that. The waiter never refilled our glasses; the two that ordered the shrimp ate one shrimp each and could go no further with the warm shrimp or the horrible sauce. There was no attempt to adjust the bill at all. Service was disgusting just like the food.”

• The server tried hard even though she had no training. She had to apologize for the manager's behavior.
• Nasty food; bad manager; food poisoning.

“Horrible food! The toast for Bruschetta was rock hard. We got food poisoning! The manager almost knocked me down (I am disabled with a cane) I was coming out of the rest room and he crashed into me and then gave me a dirty look. The server was new and had no training. She had to look at the menu with us. Horrible place. Do not eat here!”

• The parking.

“Coming from New Jersey, if you want real Italian food - look no further in New Mexico. I got hitched in NM, and my wife and I spend our anniversary here (while we are in New Mexico). Yes we will be moving back home, but for the time being this place is worth the drive for us (almost 2 hours). The Food is very good, and authentic.”
