- The family atmosphere.
- Needs a larger building, they are always very busy.
“Went there for my first anniversary 25 years ago. Just loved it and have eaten there several times since. Great food I loved the pasta but my husband loves the lamb fries and the bread sticks are wonderful. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend going at least once.”

- Great romantic and family dining, budget friendly options.
- Pete's place isn't in Shawnee.
“First of all let me say that I weigh in at over 300 lbs. So I know my food. Pete's place is by far the best family owned Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at, you get plenty of spaghetti and meatballs and beef ravioli with whatever entree you order. The ante-pasta (or however you spell it) is very good, especially the cheese. Also the choc beer is pretty good, if you have a romantic evening to plan or a family dinner you can make reservations for your own private dining room, yes I said private, you have a door that closes and this is very helpful for shielding society from noisy children if you are worried about them.”

- Spaghetti isn't like my mother made.
- I'm not a big eater.
“We've eaten at Rosanne's several times and each time have been pleased. The food is simple and not overwhelming as Italian often is. Of course we order very simple dishes and are delighted that they seem special. The pasta is what you wish you could do at home, but can't. The sauces are better than any I've tasted and I can't say why. Eat what you can but don't rely on its being as good carried home. The freshness is the bonus here. Plain tables with ubiquitous red checks but the place is made for eating anyway. You order they cook, you eat. Case closed. ”
