Byrnes Tavern
Apr 10, 2008 by
Russ
from New Jersey
Overall Rating: 9
Food:[9] •
Service:[10] •
Atmosphere:[8]
- Great waitress and bartenders.
- Smallest men room I've ever seen but it does the job.
“I absolutely love this place and my wife and I frequent Byrnes whenever possible. At times we travel from South Jersey just to eat, have a few and meet up with friends. Although know for their crabs and wings, try the "redfish" sandwich. It's unbelievable (and spicy).”

- Little expensive (but worth it).
“Its a great time and totally worth reserving a pie. The atmosphere is not much but the pizza is the prize! BYOB is a must they look at you like your crazy if you come in empty handed.”

1818 Market Marathon Grill

Sharon
from Philadelphia
Overall Rating: 5
Food:[7] •
Service:[2] •
Atmosphere:[7]
- Food is prepared fast.
- Service is poor.
“The food is decent and comes fast. Like upscale diner food. The service as a whole was lousy. Our waitress and other staff members acted disinterested and annoyed, and were overall inattentive. It was so strange because it wasn't a packed restaurant and we were nothing but polite. .”

Jet Rock Bar & Grill
Mar 9, 2008 by
Jay
from Portland,ME
Overall Rating: 10
Food:[8] •
Service:[10] •
Atmosphere:[8]
- Cold beers, warm women, and "classic" ambiance.
- The "classic" ambiance.
“Unfortunately I was unable to stop by the D terminal establishment as mentioned in the other reviews, but based on what I have read so far none of them have had quite the pleasure. I had the other day in b terminal. Although the facility is remarkable dated in its memorabilia and decor. The service was warm and the beers ice cold. I travel often and although the soothing tunes of nirvana is not my cup of tea I find the terminal b jet rock and its smiling staff always a welcome escape from the subpart flying experience with us airways from the smiling young lady at the pizza area to the pleasant servers and bar staff. This restaurant has service covered. The prices are equal to most in the area. Obviously the other reviewers must stick to dining at upper echelon establishments like Hardies and McDonald. Dining prices were not extravagant and at least you get your bang for your buck in the booze department. Unlike other bars, this jet rock has no "rail" liquors. Order a rum and coke and you are started off at Bacardi. My wife's paradise punch was a welcome treat as it combined several fresh fruit flavors. Overall a great experience. We will stop in again.”
