• The service was good.
• The food was terrible, especially at that price.

“I guess, time has a way of changing things. The four of us arrived about 4:30 Thursday and were the first customers to be seated. The service was quick and polite as we would expect of a restaurant that charged $18.00 per plate. The food was served in a reasonable amount of time and that is the end of the good comments. I don't know what real German food should taste like, but each serving on every plate was very heavy in vinegar. The schnitzel was like cardboard. Even the bread was ordinary, out of the store style bread. None of us will ever eat there again or recommend it to anyone. It sounds like this was once a really good restaurant.”

• GREAT German food, hard to find around here.
• No music! I expected music outside in the Biergarten.

“We visited The Rheingarten on a sunny September afternoon and chose to sit outdoors in the covered Biergarten. The Franziskaner could have been a little colder, but the food was excellent, hot, freshly prepared, and very authentic. I had the grilled bratwurst, Spaetzle with pork gravy, and their marinated red kraut; everything was yummy! They have a good selection of Schnitzels, Rouladen, Sauerbraten, a couple of chicken entrees, Bratwurst and Knockwurst; dinners come with soup or salad and a choice of two sides. Hubby ordered the homemade sauerkraut and it was fantastic; that'll be my choice next time. We'll definitely be going back. Best German food I've had since Ursula's in Tulsa closed! Worth the drive.”

• I like everything about the Rheingarten.
• What's not to like, It's worth the 1 hour drive to dine there.

“I've been dining at the Rheingarten for the past 7 years. The German food is authentic and prepared fresh when ordered. No frozen stuff at this establishment!”

• Delicious flavor, inexpensive, friendly staff.
• No bar.

“I come from a long line of good Mexican food but this was by far the best! Everything from the home-made chips and salsa, to the hand rolled tacos, to the fresh beans and rice was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend Lupe's Mex Rest to anyone that will be in the area. And if you don't plan to be, make plans because this food will leave your mouth watering, your stomach full, and your wallet happy!! This restaurant should be in every major town. A+.”
