- The food was of the highest quality with the freshest ingredients.
- I wish I had saved room for the homemade desserts.
“Chef Kay strange has produced a great and varied menu. It was fine dining at its best. When I visited, I enjoyed homemade crab cakes with wasabi caviar for my appetizer. The salad was made with fresh, fine greens and homemade dressing. The bread was hot and delicious. The entree was a generous cut of a juicy, flavorful and tender nay strip steak. It was served with caramelized onions, fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. It is a beautiful dining room that is romantic and filled with local art. The staff is first class.”

- Great food, big portions, reasonably priced, family friendly, right off I-26. Highly Recommended
- On Sundays they're only open for lunch from noon to 3PM.
“I've been visiting Green River Barbecue since shortly after it opened and the food and service has been consistently good for 22+ years. Camp Bob Hardin, a boy scout camp, is just a few miles away, and when I worked at the camp, the staff would always visit Green River Barbecue on the weekends. Today I'll be taking my son to that same camp for the first time. We'll be sure to include a visit to Green River Barbecue on our way. I'm looking forward to my favorite - the Saluda Stuffer!”
