“I have seen the owner and his wife yell at female customers. The owner yelled at a female customer complaining about service, his wife yelled at a female customer that asked for a female waitress. She said it is none of your business. Waitresses are a problem. They try to sell cosmetics or tickets for a fund raiser. They also tell customers they need money and will only give service to females that look like have a lot of money. The waitresses tend to be rude to female customers. Just walk away from female customers without explanation. and not come back. Some waitresses just walk away from customers to gossip with co-workers. Some of the waitresses complain about management and the hostess is rude to, she is only nice to groups with males and the female cashiers are rude continually to female customers and only nice to male customers. They will not volunteer to wait on female customers and sometimes will wait on two females at a time. The waitresses push food from the tables, crumbs onto the floor and will not pick them up, though I saw one waitress pick up food from the floor and not wash her hands.”

- Decent food.
- Awful management.
“If overpriced gifts, overpriced food, and bad management are your thing, visit Zest. We used to be regular customers to the restaurant, but the food prices went up, and the manager's idiosyncrasies became downright customer un-friendly. At our last and final visit, he actually refused to fix a meal that was badly prepared and told us that we had to order something different.”

- Decent food.
- Awful management.
“We used to be regular customers here. The food is priced high, but we thought we were getting good value. Then we started to see some inconsistency, and had to send back some food once because it was overcooked. Everything was ok with that (no apologies, though) however today we had lunch and had to send back a turkey burger that was burnt. The manager came back and told us that he would not re-make it, it was cooked the way it was supposed to be and in fact, we could order anything else on the menu but we were not allowed to get another turkey burger! He did not even apologize for the burnt food nor did he engage us in discussion or ask us what he could do to make things better. Bottom line, he is a individual who should not be in a service industry. Buyer beware - if you have problems here, don't expect any of the kind of customer service you should expect from a high-priced bistro - you won't get it. We walked out and won't be back.”

- Great movies, food and spirits.
- The get their movies 4-5 weeks after they come out.
“The logo says it all great movies, food and spirits. Our favorite movie theater, and the highest rated one in the Triangle, we have been going there for years. They serve you food and drinks as you watch the movie! Very popular so get their early at least 30 minutes before movie show time. Movie admission is only $4.50/2.50 and the two theaters are upscale and spotlessly clean. No kids under 18 without their parents so it's not overrun with teenagers.”

- Nicely decorated and feels like a special event outing.
- Seemed basic in many ways, lacked the pinache of fine dining.
“Neighbors all encouraged us to go, but I found it over-rated. It is what I would expect for the prices. Can get very loud, but it was not the "wow-factor" that people had led me to expect. Our server was kind and attentive; allowed my hubby to flirt gently (important to us old farts) and kept her sense of humor throughout. I would recommend to others who wanted a special event place, just wouldn't drum it too high!”
