• Location.
• Dirty, bad food, bad service, and hot.

“I live in the area and have seen this restaurant closed down since August and I have a good idea. I never thought it was the greatest place on earth, but have gone there a lot since I used to work on the boardwalk. It was quick and close for work breaks. This place went really downhill. The last time I was there, the place was empty, filthy and the staff was slow and goofing off, to make matters worse, there was something wrong with our food. My friend had something in his food. We thought it was either mold or a rotten blueberry. Whatever it was, it was not good and didn't belong in a gyro. We informed the waitress (who spoke very little English) of the problem and showed it to her. She then proceeded to take it to the cook. They looked at it for a few minutes laughing hysterically and talking in their language. She then discounted our bill $3.00 and she didn't even offer him anything else. Even though my food looked and tasted eatable, there was still something wrong with it, for we both had the runs all night! I'm assuming the place was shut down by the department of health because of other people getting sick. Hopefully if the restaurant reopens, they will get their act together and hire polite, respectful staff that speak good enough English.”

• The quality of the ice cream.
• I live too far away.

“Don't miss this. The ice cream is all hand made and the greatest. The kids will love watching the train go around the room, playing the arcade games while you wait for a table (this place is well known, and chances are good that you will have a short wait, never too long) Allow enough time to play a round of mini golf on the course that the owner feels is never good enough, and is constantly making improvements yearly. Try it!”

“I have been going to Wildwood for 25 years and Duffers is a must! The breakfasts are great- might I recommend the stuffed French Toast! And late night is the best- they have the best, biggest, tastiest ice cream anywhere in Wildwood. The sundaes and banana splits are out of this world. Great service- minimal wait and terrific food. As a kid, I loved the games and golf. As an adult, I loved splitting an ice cream sundae with my girl after a long walk on the boardwalk. And as a parent I love to see my kids eyes light up as mine did 25 years prior. I hope it's around for me to take my grandkids. I know you'll love it.”
