- Great value, fast, warm.
- Atmosphere, service sometimes.
“Shiki is Hibachi style food with shrimp sauce. I would highly recommend ordering the Teriyaki chicken with either mushrooms or mixed vegetables. Their shrimp sauce is amazing. My friends and I call it "Liquid Gold." You cannot beat the value of this restaurant. You can eat lunch for under $ 6 with water. You get a lot of food too. Do not resist the temptation just pour your liquid gold all over your food and chow down.”

- Hushpuppies.
- Poor food quality & prices.
“We heard mixed reviews of big daddies so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the captains platter which came with fish, shrimp & oysters. After getting my food, I informed the waitress that I only got 2 oysters. She said that is all that comes with this particular dish.”

- Food was good.
- Wait was very bad.
“While the food turned out to be very good, the wait was absurd. Our server did not acknowledge us other than to take our order, in fact, she blatantly ignored us as people around us that came in after us were getting their food. I finally had to get up and walk to the server station to ask where our food was. It took over an hour and a half for our appetizer to arrive, then another 30 mins. for our meal. She did not apologize nor did she check back to see if our food was ok. It was a Friday night and there was no management on duty, only a teenage hostess who did nothing and knew nothing. When we went to leave the server did not even bring our check, she made the hostess do it. Now that is what I call poor service.”

- Great hushpuppies.
- Service, quality of food for price and need plates for a salad bar.
“We had heard all about "big daddy's" good and bad. We decided to give it a try. Atmosphere good. We received okay service. My wife ordered prime rib,shrimp and corn. Meal was good except the corn. I told the waitress it was awful which it was. It was so soggy and no flavor. Instead of 10 minutes in boiling water it tasted like it had been in overnight. I has brought it to the waitresses attention and said " oh yeah that does look bad". I was shocked. Never asked if I would like something else she just agreed. Then I got a salad bar and ask the same waitress for a new bowl. She handed me a cracked one that was cracked all the way through and cut my finger. Unbelievable. Over priced food for what you actually get. Salad bar can be updated and more variety. Owners: you may want to think about the little slogan you have on the bottom of your receipt:"reward for good service" what about the people who keep you in business? What do you do for the customers if they get bad service from your employees? rethink that slogan.”
